Mindartis Floshem (also called Mindy by her friends) was a Sun Elf Wild Mage. She remembers when the web was lost, the Time of Troubles, and the fall and rise of Mystra, and the havoc it caused Faerun. She however is NOT so old as to remember the fall of Myth Drannor, but she does remember when the elves were in full retreat.

She met her good friend Keith Appleblossom, a Halfling Druid in the High Forest in the north of the eastern realms. They would often spend time at night talking about dreams. While it was not as important to Mindartis, it was very significant for Keith.

During a trip East, where Keith wished to see the effect the Shadowfell was having on dreams of the locals, and to see if he could help restore the balance they met and were joined by the cleric Eloise Montrusse of Kelemvor,. and Lance Cooperson. A couple of humans traveling on the same road, for different reasons.

One night however Lance left the camp, and was gone for several days. No amount of searching helped to find him, and they waited with the broken hearted Eloise for 3 days, till one morning Lance returned. However he had changed. He was no longer the bright flashy young human she had known. Now he was a driven man obsessed with more power.

The group moved on, but not a week later his absence would cause the predicament now faced by the group, as the new sword he had acquired, but would not give more details on struck a creature from the Fell, and the results were the party trapped in the sword until released.

Now she and her friends are trapped in the body of Ahvain, all trying to survive and be in control, all trying to get out or take over. Mindartis is hoping when she has a chance, that some powerful magic released from her casting will either give her complete control, or free her into another body.
